“Why is an ORAC Rating important?”

ORAC rating is a method of evaluating the level of antioxidants present in food products. “ORAC” stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Oxygen radicals – which are also called “free radicals” – are molecules in our bodies that are introduced through our food, our environment, and our normal process of living and aging. These molecules cause damage to our bodies through oxidation.
